Shipping & Orders

What is your shipping method? How long before I receive my order?
All of our orders from within the United States ship via USPS Priority Mail, usually within 1-2 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation, with tracking info, once your order has shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries across the world!

Please note, however, that depending on your order and country, you may be liable for customs fees and/or any other local import taxes upon on receipt of your order. PLANT Apothecary has no influence over how much these might be or any ability to prevent these charges from being assessed—it’s a standard part of international commerce transactions.

For this reason, we cannot accept liability for them. With this in mind, you may wish to locate a retailer selling PLANT Apothecary products closer to you or even in your own country, if there is one. Please refer to our store finder page to see if we’re sold anywhere near you!

I made a mistake on my order. Can I update or cancel it?
Please send us an email at customerservice@plantapothecary.com with your order information as soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your order or if you need to cancel it.

Our fulfillment center processes orders quickly, so we might not be able to catch it in time, but we will do our best!

Can I return my order?
We are a small company using only the highest quality organic ingredients, and each batch of product is made under the strictest quality-control guidelines to ensure purity and effectiveness. Because this is such a labor-intensive process, we do not accept returns or exchanges—except in the case of a product arriving damaged.

If you would like personalized recommendations and guidance on choosing the best product for your skin, we’re happy to help! Please just shoot us an email at customerservice@plantapothecary.com and let us know.

If a product arrives damaged, please email us (and include a photo of the damage) within 7 days of receiving the order and we will arrange for a replacement. Unfortunately, we cannot replace products beyond the 7-day period.

Please note: We can only replace products purchased on PLANTapothecary.com. If you bought your PLANT Apothecary product elsewhere, please contact the retailer about your replacement.

Is PLANT cruelty-free?
We love our animal friends! No PLANT product is ever tested on animals, and none contain any animal-derived ingredients.
Are your products certified by PETA?
Yes! Our products proudly display the PETA Cruelty-Free bunny logo. To learn more, please visit PETA’s website here.
Where can I buy your products in my area?
You can find the closest retailer near you on our store finder page here. Simply type in your city and state or zip code and you are all set!
Where are your products made?
We are proud to say that all of our products are made, with love, in the USA!
Are all of your products organic?
All of our products that can possibly be certified as USDA Organic are indeed certified as such. Products that contain more than a 10% share of a non-plant-based ingredient, such as our MATCHA and NOT A SPOT masks (they are based on premium-grade white china clay, also known as kaolin), cannot be certified as organic.

This is because organic designation is restricted to ingredients that are grown in accordance to organic guidelines, and non-plant-based products like clay aren’t grown at all (they’re mined). However, all of the plant-based ingredients in these and our other products are certified USDA Organic, and all non-plant-based all ingredients are approved for us in USDA Organic products.

My bodywash looks cloudy. What’s going on here?
Our body washes are made almost entirely of natural and organic vegetable oils, which as you may know from home use, can get cloudy at cold temperatures. (You may have noticed that olive oil, for example, which is one of the main ingredients, quickly clouds up in the fridge.) But not to worry—this change in appearance is not an indication of spoilage or any other problem, and doesn’t affect the body wash in any other way. We wrote a little more about it here!
Do you have any samples available?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any product samples at this time. If you’re wondering whether a particular product is right for you, though, please feel free to write to us at customerservice@plantapothecary.com. We’ll be happy to lend a hand!
