How To Layer Your Skincare Products

The general rule of thumb is thinnest to thickest. However, some of our products work together, such as the Silvr Knight Collection. As new products are added and we continue to learn, the product order may change. 

Here’s a suggested morning and night routine using our entire line of Plant Apothecary Lab products. Remember, not every product will work for every skin type. If you’re not using one of these products, simply skip that step!

Morning Routine

  1. Cleanser
  2. Silver Spray
  3. Silver Serum
  4. Neck Roller and Under-Eye Roller
  5. Face Tightening Gel
  6. Under-Eye Cream Gel
  7. Day Moisturizer

Night Routine

Skincare Product Order Tips and Tricks

The Silvr Knight Collection 

  • Always apply the silver products to a clean face! 
  • You can use the Silvr Knight Collection morning and night, but if you’re choosing just one time a day to apply those, apply them in the morning. 
  • When applying the silver products, Dr. Dee explains that it is best to use the Silver Spray and, while the face is still slightly damp, apply the Silver Serum. Allow this to dry to the touch before applying any other products. 

Under-Eye Roller and Under-Eye Cream

  • The Under-Eye Roller has caffeine. Caffeine targets puffiness and dark circles. The other ingredients in this formula hydrate the sensitive skin around the eyes. 
  • The Under-Eye Cream Gel deeply hydrates and provides a boost of antioxidants to scavenge free radicals and protect against environmental stressors. This is your go-to morning and night. 
  • Both products use the same dual peptide formula to enhance collagen synthesis and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. 

General Tips and Tricks

  • Cleanse your face morning and night, and apply products to a clean, dry face. 
  • Always allow each product to absorb into the skin before applying the next, except for the Silver Spray and Silver Serum. The Silver Serum should be applied after the Silver Spray, while the skin is still damp. 
  • Those with sensitive skin should perform a skin patch test when introducing a new product. Apply a small amount of the new product behind/under the ear. Watch for signs of irritation. 
  • Our products are formulated with the highest quality ingredients available. So, a little goes a long way. Start with a single pump or partial dropper full. If that’s not enough, add more until you find the perfect amount for your skin.
